How duty free works here. Flying home? Shop in town with your passport and flight details at least 24 hours before you fly. Many purchases (especially alcohol) are handed over at Bauerfield Airport when you leave. On a cruise? Bring your ship card and photo ID and ask the store how they handle cruise purchases. Before you buy alcohol or tobacco, check what your home country lets you bring back duty free.
Duty-free stores in town
All four are in the compact town centre, within a short walk of the Seafront cruise terminal. Shops usually close early on Saturday and stay closed on Sunday.
